Troy Mayes – Serving Hays County since 2009

The Hays County Law Enforcement Association will be holding elections for the positions of President and Vice President starting at 0800 on November 28, 2023 through 1700 on November 30, 2023.

I am an active member of our association and running for the position of President. 

I have over 22 years of law enforcement experience serving in various positions including:  School Resource Officer, Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Canine Handler, Detective, and Patrol Corporal.  I am currently a Sergeant assigned to the Patrol Division and hold a Master Peace Officers License.

In addition to my law enforcement experience, I have served on several boards within the DSISD Athletic Booster Clubs ranging from Vice President of baseball, President of Wrestling, and President of the Athletic Booster Club which oversees all Booster Clubs in the School District.

I believe we are all family and should stay united, so we achieve more.  I am asking for your vote to lead our association in a positive manner while being committed to all our members.  I will utilize effective communication, transparency, and foster community support.  I will always remain available and welcome the feedback of our members. I will constantly seek out ways to improve our association.
